Viesus Image Optimization improves the natural appearance of an image according to the individual properties of the image and the characteristics of the motive.
We call this type of enhancement "Natural Image Optimization", which ensures that the image is enhanced in a natural way that avoids over-processing and therefore artificial looking results.
If an adjustment might potentially destroy the image or changes the nature of the image in a drastic way, Viesus refrains from applying the adjustment to protect the integrity of the image.

At Viesus, we have studied thousands of high-quality images across a multitude of scenes, image styles, motives and characteristics.
The goal was to determine, which visual properties give an image a pleasant and appealing overall look, both on a technical and non-technical level for print and digital outputs alike.
Our findings have been carefully weaved into the intelligent image enhancement algorithms that make up Viesus. And which are capably of automatically applying granular adjustments to an image for the best possible result.
The adjustments are informed by the preceding AI Image Analysis and include local and global corrections of color, brightness, contrast and sharpness as well as skin tones, shadows and highlights.

When and why is Image Optimization applied?
